Inmate Enrollment Info.
Thank you for your interest in CircleDumb Magazine. For some of us, this has been the work of a lifetime. Your incarcerated loved ones and their contributions are just as important to the future success of this project as the years of hard work that laid the foundation for this magazine and publishing company to develop. Below are 4 different aspects of CircleDumb that pertain specifically to inmates and their loved ones.
1. Inmate Profile While IncarceratedCircleDumb acknowledges the unique talents and potential of each incarcerated individual. Through our program, we will provide inmates with the opportunity to explore their artistic talents, fostering creativity and self-expression. By engaging in various artistic practices inspired by Dadaism, Surrealism, and Outsider artists, inmates can develop new skills, expand their intellectual horizons, and build self-confidence during incarceration.
2. Transitional Period Upon ReleaseWe understand the challenges inmates face upon reintegration into society. CircleDumb aims to ease this transition by offering support and guidance. We will provide access to resources such as job training, counseling, and mentorship to help former inmates navigate the complexities of life outside prison. Our goal is to empower them with the tools they need to build a positive and fulfilling future.
3. Online Shop and Business OpportunitiesCircleDumb will establish an online shop where inmates can showcase and sell their artwork. This platform not only serves as a means of income during incarceration but also lays the foundation for entrepreneurship upon release. We will provide training in marketing, financial management, and e-commerce, empowering individuals to turn their artistic endeavors into sustainable businesses.
4. The Art of Recovery - ShareWell SessionAs an integral part of our program, we offer "The Art of Recovery" ShareWell sessions. These sessions delve into the therapeutic aspects of art, helping inmates cope with the emotional challenges of incarceration and reintegration. By tapping into the power of artistic expression, we aim to support the recovery process and enhance mental well-being. Get started by requesting an artist profile for your incarcerated loved one. Do this by filling in the information on the Inmate Enrollment form. If you do not have all of the relevant information you can download and print the New Inmate Profile document to send this to your loved. Have them fill it in and send it back to you or they can send it to use directly. If you would like to send them this information you can also download the Contribution Proposal information as well.

"The guys here are so happy, it makes their day. They are all like, I can't believe he wrote back. It sad that people in here can't even believe one would write them back. Talk about losing all hope. So, I want you to know that I feel like what you are doing will work out into something great." –Patrick Mcclintock
